With the HTML5-based location function, you can be located at your current location and then either upload media or create an event.
File Upload
With YouMapPics you can assign images, videos and files such as PDFs or GPX files to an event or position using drag & drop and upload them to the server.
Extract Metadata from Files
YouMapPics then automatically extracts metadata such as position information and times from the files and positions the elements on the map.
Event-Management
Even without the location function, events such as travel, sports, excursions and much more can be created in YouMapPics on the basis of maps and then assigned to media files.
Share & collaborate
Friends and acquaintances can edit and share media on events together.
Events & Media Objects on Timeline
YouMapPics supports the viewing of media and events not only on the map but also in the temporal dimension. By adjusting the timeline, media and events can be restricted to a certain period of time.
Mediagalleries & Slideshows
With YouMapPics you can transform your photos and events into interactive photo galleries. Encrypted links are created to share the content, which can also be used outside of the application.
